At present, OYO has a variety of products designed to facilitate effective communication between people whose voices are marginalised. Our products aim to remove or reduce the language barrier for non-English speakers, people with dementia, stroke, hearing impairment, speech impairment, visual impairment to name a few. Each product aims to reduce frustration, helplessness, isolation and boredom and to maintain optimal communication abilities in formal and informal partnerships. OYO Language Guides – $69 hard copy
Set of 40 A4 language guides $2400
Based on first language of client. Contain 1600 of the most used words in daily life and health in English and in the client’s first language. Is illustrated, logically indexed, in big print and with two-way pronunciation. The guide stays with the client / student or in close reach eg. nurses station. Available in 40 languages.

OYO CD-ROM Language Guides – $30 each language
Set of discs for 40 languages: $599
Content of language guides on CD-ROM for computer use. Single language or in groups of five (for details see order form).

OYO Quick Reference Cards – $50
Contains 28 of the most commonly used words in dementia-care. Comes in English with the first language of client, A5 size, laminated, big print, on a clip-hook which can be fastened on belt, wheelee walker, bedside etc. Available in 13 languages. (Arabic, Croatian (also used by  Bosnians & Serbians), Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek,  Hungarian, Italian, Mandarin (Chinese, in traditional characters), Polish, Russian, Spanish). On special requests others can be accommodated.

Signage (A4 laminated) – $5 each or $35 for the set
Signs (13 locations: exit, dining room, toilet, bedroom, living room, bathroom, kitchen, laundry, veranda, elevator, stairs, garden, office). Plus OHS signage (for details see orderform) Picture plus English only or picture plus English and 12 most popular languages, A4 size, laminated. OYO Picture Games (bingo-style) – All $69; Number-bingo $79
Eight (8) games available. The 8 themes are: “fruit & vegetables”, “drinks & food”, “male items”, “female items”, “all-kind items”, “occupations”, “DT-activities”, “child items”.

Each game consists of 10 playing cards and 18 show-cards (except "numbers" which has 12/30). All A4 size and laminated. The games enables the client and/or care provider to play “bingo” with pictures (visual) rather than in English words (audible). Game is kept simple in quantity and context but exiting enough in choice and stimulation.
A clip-hook keeps the cards together for easy and safe storage.

OYO-DT Language Cards – $50
Quick reference set of cards (contain 28 most commonly used words by Diversional Therapists and Activity Officers in aged care. Comes in  English and 12 other languages on each page.
